Porcelain Veneers Henderson

Porcelain veneers are the perfect solution for teeth that are discolored, chipped, pitted, misaligned or even severely crooked.  If you’re ever tempted to hide your smile, this could be just what the dentist ordered.

More durable than cosmetic bonding, a veneer is a custom-made, porcelain shell specifically prepared to look natural.  They are extremely durable and easy to maintain.

Having a tooth veneered at Foutz Family Dentistry is a routine procedure requiring as little as two office visits.

First, Dr. Foutz makes an impression of the tooth and sends the mold to a dental laboratory.  There the veneer is crafted to match the color and shape of your teeth.  The veneer is then bonded to the prepared tooth using a special curing light for about 60 seconds.  Finally, the veneer is polished to look just like a natural tooth.

With a veneer you retain the strength of your natural tooth.  The enamel is modified by only about 1/2 millimeter to provide room for the veneer as well as a proper bonding surface.

Even the subtlest improvement in your smile can make a difference in the way you look and feel.  When you look good you feel good and you project a confident self-image.
